The safety of our products is of the utmost importance to us, which is why we manufacture, assemble and test each unit at our Canadian warehouse. Solus firepits are certified as gas appliances, just like a boiler or a stove. As we sell worldwide, all of our products are ANSI, CA, UKCA, and CE certified. There is a significant difference between a fully certified firepit and a certified burner that has simply been inserted into a vessel. Solus products are tested and certified in their entirety, which ensures the vessel won’t be damaged or become hazardous when exposed to heat from the burner. Although this sounds like common sense, full certification isn’t a legal requirement at present. However, gas authorities and insurance companies often request complete certification before signing off on installation.
